History
Shamash Corp is the heir to the small business founded by Lorenzo Shamash in his little artisan workshop in Venice, Italy, in the 18th Century. His first projects to mechanize and automatize the movable type of printing press were a breakthrough at the time and allowed the access of millions of people of culture.
The Shamash Corp's goal has not changed over time, but its ambitions and means have. Lorenzo Shamash surely did not dream that his small workshop would be the seed of an international company whose advances and discoveries would be used by many of the world's manufacturers.

Shamash's Corporation headquarters are in Venice, Italy, near the same workshop where Lorenzo Shamash started this venture centiries ago. Shamash Health
The goal of improving health and human quality was already one of the main objectives of our founder, Lorenzo Shamash, who already in the 18th century became a patron of many medical researchers, such as Michelangelo Tilli, Giovanni Bianchi or Giuseppe Zambeccari, habit that was continued in the following years by financing names such as Giovanni Battista Morgagni and Anna Morandi Manzolini.
But it wasn't until the late 19th century that Shamash Health was founded as a company, beginning to set up laboratories and hire doctors. Throughout its century of existence, Shamash Health has collaborated with Nobel laureates and helped advance medicine and improve health by funding many high-impact medical studies.

Shamash Life
Shamash Life was born from from Shamash Health as an independant company in 1946, when research on improving food, with an eye on the health of the population, took on its own entity, especially as a result of research on radioactivity. Taking advantage of naturalist movement, Shamash Life emerged with a strong environmental character, which has remained until today.
Its research continues to focus on improving and caring for the animals that make up the human diet, to reduce their environmental impact and to make agriculture and livestock farming more ethical, but it devotes a large part of its efforts to maintaining the ecosystem and, since 1973, to recovering natural areas damaged by man.

Shamash Energy
It has existed as a Shamash department since 1873, but it was constituted in its own company in 1935. Its headquarters were in New York at first, but they soon moved to Iceland. Since its foundation, it bet for renewable energy despite its innovative nature, and in recent years its efforts have gone further, investigating new sources of energy such as microwave radiation or dark matter.
His collaborations with Shamash Technologies are frequent and abundant, from high-capacity batteries to intelligent systems to maximize the energy efficiency of electrical mechanisms.
