Tetsu Yoshida has introduced a new version of the ethical code inside Shamash Technologies, that all its clients will have to sign and agree to comply with. This revision, which reinforces the humanistic, pacifist and progressive spirit of the company, will guarantee that no technology sold by Shamash to its customers will be used for unethical purposes.
The new text is more restrictive than the previous one; for example, it moves from prohibiting the use of Shamash Technologies' products and patents on military products to rejecting any contract with companies that do business with any army, or have direct or indirect relations with governments with sanctions for human rights violations, among other examples.
“Como uno de los mayores proveedores tecnológicos del mundo, no podemos eludir nuestra responsabilidad”, ha explicado Tetsu. “Rechazar usos poco éticos ya no es suficiente, sino que debemos formar una comunidad de empresas que trabajemos juntas respetando los mismos valores humanos, de modo que trabajar con Shamash sea una garantía de moralidad.
